Armand Phillip Villasana, son of Armondo and Norma Snider Villasana, was born April 21, 1953, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and departed this life on February 12, 2015, in Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-one years, nine months and twenty-one days. On September 2, 2000, he was united in marriage to Wanda Cantrell and they have enjoyed many wonderful times together the last fourteen years. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Armand is survived by his wife, Wanda of the home; two sons, Armand Raymond of Jupiter, Florida and Carl Raymond and wife, Collete, of Palm Bay, Florida; step-children, Becky Swearengin and husband, Ricky, Jimmy Bean, and Melissa Bean, all of Seymour, Missouri; his grandchildren who loved him dearly – Trent, Katie and Karly Momany; Abiel and Reece Swearengin; and Arlie, Richard (Bub) and Addie Bean; two brothers, Artie Cranor and wife, Debbie of Santee, California, and Ricky Villasana of State of Colorado; sisters, Shelia Bukowski and husband, Jim of Grand Forks, North Dakota; Debbie Moron of San Antonio, Texas; and Tammy Smitherman of Ravenna, Texas; his mother-in-law, Pauline Cantrell of Marshfield, Missouri; other extended relatives and many dear friends and neighbors. He attended school in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and then served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force for 10 years. He was stationed in Pease, New Hampshire, then at the Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska where he was a supply specialist. Armand loved the outdoors, especially fishing, caribou hunting and golfing. For a time, he worked as a commercial fisherman, a restaurant chef and handyman. Armand was a man of faith and loved His Lord. He made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member and trustee of the Fordland Freewill Baptist Church. Armand never met a stranger, was generous to everyone he met and always had a smile on his face. He was always there to open a door, push a shopping cart or help unload groceries for anyone. The memories and moments he created for family and friends will be treasured forever in their hearts. He will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed enough to know and love him.
