Arnold and Joan lived in Vermont before moving to Missouri in 1987 where they resided for thirty years. They owned and operated a farm in Hartville and Arnold truly loved being outdoors on the farm. He was especially fond of his dog, Rascal. Six years ago, the couple made their home in Lebanon, Missouri.
He loved hunting and fishing and the Missouri Ozarks was the perfect place to enjoy his hobby. He also was a ham radio operator and made many friends through that endeavor.
Arnold was a follower of Christ and was a member of Tabernacle of the Living God Church in Lebanon. He loved to cook dinners at home on Tuesday nights, and invited everyone over from the church to enjoy the meal and fellowship with one another.
Most of all, Arnold was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family so much, especially his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
Arnold will be remembered for his faithful service to his country, his faith in God, and his love for his family. While he has gone on to his eternal home, his family will hold tight to the wonderful and special memories they made with him.
