Arthur Lee Neal (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Arthur “Artie” Neal, 61, passed away on July 4, 2022 at Citizens Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Michelle Neal. They shared 39 years of marriage together.
Artie was born in Kansas City, Missouri on April 16, 1961 to Billy Dale and Ruth Neal. He attended Bolivar High School and graduated in 1979. He attended Missouri State University where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Accounting with Honors. He was the owner/operator of B-Town Custom Apparel and Blade Signs in Bolivar.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, watching the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs, and old time rock and roll music, and was known to defuse certain situations by singing lyrics to a rock and roll song. Artie will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his dedication to his job, many will remember him as their coach/mentor, love for his country, kind-heartedness, and the joy he brought into many people’s lives.
He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Dale Neal and his mother-in-law, Georgeanna Spiegel.
Artie is survived by his wife Michelle Neal, three sons; Stephen, Ryan, and Alex Neal, daughters-in-law, Amber, Rikki, and Kaitlin Neal, six Grandchildren, Anna, Axel, Addison, Ellie, Harlee, and Parker Neal, mother Ruth Neal, father-in-law Earl Spiegel, his brothers; Danny, Roger and Terry, sisters; Jenise and Denise as well as numerous other family members.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July, 8 2022 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Bolivar, MO
Memorial contributions can be made to Bolivar High School Football and Bolivar High School and Youth Wrestling programs.
