Arturo Aguilar's Obituary
Arturo Alfredo “Fritos” Aguilar, son of Cipriano S. and Margarita (Estrada) Aguilar was born April 29, 1957 in Riverside, California. He departed this life Saturday, November 6, 2010 in St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of fifty-three years, six months, and eight days.
On July 14, 1984 he was united in marriage to Pamela Joyce Walters and together they have spent 26 wonderful years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pam, of the home; two sons, Robert Esquivel, of Springfield, Missouri and Daniel Aguilar and his wife, Jessica (Cummins), of Seymour, Missouri; three grandchildren, Ivy and Sierra Esquivel and Lance Aguilar; his parents, Cipriano and Margarita Aguilar, of Riverside, California; a brother, Jesse Aguilar, of Riverside, California; five sisters, Sally Vaca, of Seymour, Missouri, Mickey Sanchez, of Colton, California, Yolanda Munoz, Bertha Garcia, and Aida Manzano, all of Riverside, California; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
“Fritos” as he was known by family and friends, grew up in California and worked as an apartment maintenance engineer. He moved his family to Seymour, Missouri seven years ago, and he and Pam moved to Springfield, Missouri two years ago to make their home. He had followed the Catholic faith throughout his life.
He loved his family very much and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Lance and his dog “Fred”. Because of his experience in building maintenance, he was known as for his ability to repair and fix things for his family and friends.
Fritos was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will cherish the precious memories he created for his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at the family home in Springfield. Arrangements are under direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour, Missouri.
