Ashley Nicole Hicks (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Ashley Nicole Hicks, daughter of Stanley Saunders, Jr. and Kimberly Gage Saunders, was born February 15, 1990, in Osage Beach, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, February 15, 2019, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of twenty-nine years.
On August 4, 2012, she was united in marriage to Michael D. Hicks, and they shared the last seven years and lived together for thirteen years.
She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Stanley Saunders; and her grandmother, Janice Gross.
Ashley is survived by her husband, Michael, of the home; two daughters, Shayna Saunders, and Jayanna Hicks, both of the home; two sons, Abel Hicks, of the home and David Hicks of Lebanon, Missouri; her mother, Kimberly Saunders, of Lebanon, Missouri; an aunt, Tammy Hildebrand, of Osage Beach, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She lived most of her life in the Lebanon area, and attended Lebanon R-III Schools. She had worked as a dispatcher for a taxi cab company for several years. She was currently employed by Buckhorn Plastics in Springfield, Missouri. She was also a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
In her spare time she enjoyed doing craft projects. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed having her family around her. Her children were the center of her life and she loved them dearly.
Ashley was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
A memorial has been established to the family and may be left at the funeral home.
