Aubrey Gunnels (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Mr. Aubrey Clayton Gunnels, age 74 of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Monday evening, January 21, 2013 at his home in Bolivar.
He was born May 15, 1938 in Linda, Missouri the son of Paul Edward Gunnels and Gladys Mae (LeSieur) Gunnels.
On June 12, 1959 he married Gloria Joyce Wheeler in St. Louis, Missouri.
Aubrey was a Maintenance worker at the Bolivar Nursing Home and then went on to work for Walmart prior to his retirement from there in 1981. He was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Bolivar and was involved with Intervention Ministries.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jimmy Dale Gunnels, two brothers, Norman Gunnels, Daymon Gunnels, and two sisters, Regina Boston and June Rhoede.
Aubrey is survived by his daughter, Lisa Maria Mitchell and her husband Alvin (Davey) of Independence, Missouri, one brother, Harold Gunnels of Festus, Missouri, four grandchildren, Shawn Gunnels, Dylan Mitchell, Elizabeth Mitchell, Megan Mitchell and two great grandchildren, Zakary James Gunnels and Tylor Dale Gunnels.
