Aubrey H. Hill (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Aubrey H Hill, 80, of Buffalo, went to be with his Lord and Savior on the evening of August 15, 2024.
Aubrey was born on April 22, 1944 to Murrell Carl Hill and Mona Magdalene Hill (Stafford) in Springfield, Missouri.
Aubrey married the love of his life, Linda (Strawhacker,) on September 15, 1962. From this union, five children were born: Carolyn (Wibracht,) Terry, Kevin, Nancy (Newberry,) and Mona (Dueker.)
Aubrey worked hard his whole life as a welder, a farmer, and many other trades. He also had many hobbies including: woodworking, gardening, and collecting Farmall tractors. He was also a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Aubrey was proud to be a Missionary Baptist and was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church at the time of his passing. He was saved on Father’s Day 2005, at the age 61, while seeking the Lord in his recliner in his living room. He loved to share his testimony with anyone who would listen.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, three brothers, his daughter, Nancy, and his grandson, Joshua.
He is survived by his wife, one brother, four children, 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Cantlon - Otterness & Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with Brother Dustin Dueker and Brother Kip Baker officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Following all services, Aubrey will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery near Fair Grove, Missouri.
The pallbearers will be Pall Bearers: Terry Hill, Terry Hill Jr., Justin Newberry, Derek Dueker, Dylan Dueker, Devin Dueker, Brandon Hill, and Braidon Moore.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo.
