Audrey E. Gourley (Hartville)'s Obituary
Audrey Ellen (Rumfelt) Gourley, 98, departed this life Friday, July 12, 2019 at the Hartville Care Center.
Audrey was a life long resident of Hartville, Missouri. After graduating from Hartville High School, she taught in a rural grade school for several years before becoming an Accounts Payable Representative at Ft. Leonard Wood. She retired after 28 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed raising cattle, gardening, canning and researching her genealogy. She was proud to have made new family connections and relished the time she spent organizing the Rumfelt reunion for several years. She accepted Christ at an early age and worshiped at Liberty Presbyterian and Cope Church.
Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Alice (Washburn) Rumfelt; husband, Marion Gourley; stepdaughter, Sandra Carey; grandson, Ernest La Don Ormsbee; and brothers Dorman and Orrin Rumfelt.
She is survived by her son, Alfred Ormsbee, Independence, Missouri; grandchildren, Dawnetta Dugan and Leaetta Templeton, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; Karen Tuzzolino, Kansas City, Missouri; Kristy Burch, Ralston, Oklahoma; Nathan Davis, Raymore, Missouri; great-grandchildren and many other relatives. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and dear friend. We celebrate her wonderful life and will always cherish the many memories she created.
