Audrey J. Gregory (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Audrey Jane Mizer Barber Gregory, daughter of Ira “Dock" Mizer and Alma
Rogers Mizer, was born on July 8, 1938 in Lebanon, Missouri and was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on December 25, 2020. She departed this life Friday, December 25, 2020, in Lake Regional Hospital, in Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of eighty-two years, nine months, and eighteen days.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Bob" Barber, her parents, her brother, Lilburn Mizer, and her infant brother, Sammy Ray. Audrey accepted Jesus as her personal savior at an early age and lived her entire life serving and witnessing to others about her savior. Audrey is survived by her husband, Tom Gregory; a daughter and her husband, Linda and Brandon Teubner; grandchildren, Doug and his wife, Sara Smith, Allissa and her husband, Danny Neff, Jennifer Gonzalez and her fiancé Chuck Cook, Scott and his wife, Kate Reed, and Scott Smith. She also has seven great-grandchildren, Bailey, Cameron, Carson, Jaylah, Aubrey, Connor, and Alesiah; one step-daughter, Melissa Gregory; six step-sons, Edward Gregory, Keith and his wife, Kerry Gregory, Shawn Gregory, Grant and his wife, Darnell Gregory, Matt and his wife Holly Gregory, Tyler and his wife, Christy Gregory; and nine step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. On October 6, 1956, Audrey was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Barber. They made their home in North Kansas City, Missouri where Audrey was employed at Simmons Mattress Company. In 1980, they returned back to Lebanon, Missouri. Audrey and Bob owned and operated B&L Diesel Service until Bob's death in 1994. On August 13, 1983.
Audrey obtained her real estate license and brought buyers and sellers together
until she retired in 2018. Audrey worked for United Country for 25+ years and
was lovingly known as "Sarge". She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church
for many years where she served on the free day away program and taught the
3rd grade Sunday school. She donated her time to Tabernacle Christian Academy
where her grandchildren attended. In the Fall of 2017, she joined Community
Baptist Church. On June 9, 2001, Audrey was united and married to Tom
Gregory. They spent 19 of their golden years together. Audrey was a member of
the Republican Party. She had campaigned for many of the republican candidates.
Donald Trump was her favorite president, and she rode the Trump Train until
her death. She posted two of her favorite sayings which were "all aboard the Trump Train" and "Jesus is my Savior and Trump is my President". Audrey's
most precious moments were spent with her family. Her grandchildren were the
apple of her eyes, and her great-grandchildren were the beat of her heart. Her last
hour on earth was spent with her family by her side and her witnessing and
praising her lord and savior. Audrey was the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friends, counselor, and witness. Audrey left us with many memories
to hold dear in our heart, and she will be fondly missed.
