Audry Cobb (Humansville)'s Obituary
Audry “Sis” Cobb was born on May 8, 1928, in the Wisdom Community to Milburn and Beulah Crabtree Love. She passed away on August 28, 2022, at the Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln, Missouri, at the age of 94.
Audry attended Freedom Elementary School and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1946. After graduation, she became a teacher for Freedom Elementary School. On August 14, 1947, Audry married Ray Cobb and together, they moved to Kansas City, Missouri.
Several years later, they moved to Humansville and Audry began working for Teters Floral Products, retiring after 22 years.
Audry remained in the Humansville area until she entered Ambrose Park Residential Care Facility in Cole Camp, Missouri to be closer to her family.
Sis didn’t have any children of her own but loved each of her nieces and nephews and their spouses as if they were her children.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ray, her parents Milburn and Beulah, a brother Dean Love and a nephew, Jerry Love.
Audry is survived by her sister-in-law Betty Shoesmith, along with five nieces and nephews: Linda (Darrell) Schulz, Larry (Melodie) Cobb, Paula Jones, Anita (Steve) Henderson, Norma Langley, Nancy Gelvin and Lee Cobb; her cousin, Dian Bay and several great-nieces and nephews as well as great-great-nieces and nephews.
We all loved her so much.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Hopewell Cemetery in Benton County, Missouri.
Services are under the direction of Butler Funeral Home of Humansville.
