Austin Ray Jones (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Austin Ray Jones was born January 13, 1996, in Springfield, Missouri, to Irvin and Christine (Young) Jones. He passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 in Dallas County, Missouri from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was twenty-nine years, eight months and two days of age.
Austin was raised in Lebanon, Missouri and was a graduate of Lebanon High School in the class of 2014. Following high school, he was employed at area factories and MFA. He was currently working as a residential carpenter.
Austin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Buddy and Betty Terry and Raymond Young, Sr.
He is survived by his loving parents, Irvin and Christine Jones; his sister, Jazmin Jones of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandmother, Linda Young of Lebanon, Missouri; a niece, Jazmyn Null of Lebanon, Missouri; two aunts, Kim Ball and her husband Gary, and Mary Alexander and her husband Steve; three uncles, Ray Young, Jr. of Lebanon, Missouri, Eugene Terry of Conway, Missouri, and Ivan Jones and his wife Teresa of Long Lane, Missouri; and many cousins and friends.
Austin enjoyed fishing, swimming, taking his kayak to the river, and riding his motorcycle. If it was nice outside, Austin was all about being outside to enjoy his hobbies.
He was a member of Harvest Church and was baptized when he was young. He will be remembered for being a good man with a big heart. He loved to laugh and enjoyed being around people.
His loss is deeply felt by his family and he will be so missed. We know that Austin will live on in them, in their memories, and in their love for each other.
Service for Austin Ray Jones will be Friday, September 19, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Harvest Church in Lebanon, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
