Ayden Walker Coleman (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Surrounded by love and cherished memories, we remember and celebrate the joyful life of Ayden Walker Coleman, whose bright light touched so many before he was called home at the age of five. Though his time with us was far too short, Ayden lived a life full of joy, laughter, imagination, and love. He had a heart that was as big as his smile and a spirit that could light up any room. He was the kind of little boy who reminded everyone around him how beautiful life can be through the eyes of a child. Ayden loved many things, but few things brought him more happiness than Toy Story. Like Woody, he was loyal and caring. Like Buzz Lightyear, he was brave, adventurous, and always ready to explore. His imagination knew no limits, and he found magic in the simplest moments. Whether he was watching his favorite movies with his parents, putting together puzzles, coloring with his mom, or playing with his kitten, he enjoyed every moment in life. To his family, Ayden was more than a son, grandson, nephew, or cousin, he was a bright light and a source of endless love. He was equal parts sweet, silly, curious, and adventurous, constantly keeping his family laughing. His laughter filled our homes, his hugs healed our hearts, and his sweet personality left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Ayden was especially in love with Buzz Lightyear. In his eyes, Buzz wasn’t just a character – he was a hero. Brave, bold, and always ready for an adventure. Ayden loved referencing “to infinity and beyond.” He may have been a little reserved in person, but in his heart, he was every bit the fearless space ranger he admired so much. Just like his dad whom Ayden called “Dadyear.” The loss of Ayden leaves an emptiness that can never be filled, but the love he gave and the memories he created will remain with us forever. We will remember his contagious laughter, his caring heart, his adventurous spirit, and the way he made every day brighter, simply by being himself. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in imagining him embarking on his greatest adventure yet – flying free among the stars, hand in hand with his grandfather and sister, surrounded by light, laughter, and love, as they watch over us together from Heaven. Forever five. Forever our cowboy. Forever our Buzzyear. Ayden was preceded in death by one sister, Ariana Nelson. He is survived by his parents, David Coleman and Jessica Nelson; his grandparents; four aunts; one uncle; and numerous cousins. We love you Ayden, To Infinity and Beyond. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Macedonia Cemetery under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
