Barbara A. Guinn (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Barbara Ann Guinn, daughter of Richard Snath and June Colleen Weimer Monshower, was born May 8, 1941, in Lawrence, Kansas. She departed this life Wednesday, November 9, 2011, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy years, six months, and one day.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gary Monshower, and Raymond Russell; and two sisters, Judy Tate, and Patty Russell.
Barbara is survived by three sons, Kerry Zeornes, and his wife, Karol, of Tunas, Missouri, Kenneth Zeornes, and his wife, Tonya, of Otterville, Missouri, and Michael Zeornes, of Lebanon, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Brandy, Mindy, Isaac, Destiny, Tara, Melissa, Jennifer, Rusti, and Stanley; fourteen great-grandchildren, Geanna, Skyla, Neil, Rylan, Quenton, Kady, Natalie, Tony, Jr., Kaleb, Brody, Brayden, Chance, Mikayla, and Ike; two brothers, Michael Russell, of Lebanon, Missouri, and James Russell, of Kansas City, Kansas; a sister, Penny Barnett, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Dan Pendergrass, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas, and received her education there. She then made her home in Kansas City, Kansas, where besides being a devoted homemaker to her family, she also worked as a dispatcher for the railroad for a number of years. In 2000, she moved to Lebanon, Missouri, and made her home.
In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, fishing, camping, and listening to the radio. She also liked to cook and was well-known for her homemade vegetable soup. She loved her family dearly, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them throughout the years.
