I remember Barbara as a substitute high school teacher when I went to school at Plato. She was pleasant, intelligent, and kind. I remember once she subbed for her father (Mr. York) when I was in eighth grade. Both had (and have) my respect. My sympathies to the family!
Mike and I are so sorry for your loss. You have our sympathy at this difficult time. Barbara was a good teacher and wonderful person. Love, Mike and Rita Goans
Don and Stacy, I am so sorry for your loss but she is now in Heaven and has no pain.
She was a wonderful person; I loved her dearly; she always had a smile and seemed
happy! I know what you are going through and God will give you the strength you
need to make it through the loss and he will give you peace!
Love to you both, Connie Lubina
Stacy,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Barbara was a lovely and very caring person, who touched many lives! God be with you and your family and may he give you the strength to get through this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
My dear Cousin.....I will always hold dear my memories of our times together during visits to Missouri each summer swimming or wading in the river, walking in the woods, going fishing, staying over night but not sleeping. I will now miss our visits by phone and e-mail.
To you dear Aunt Alma, Stacy, Girls, Donald, and all the dear dear family , may you always remember the love Barbara shared one with another and that nothing that is loved is ever lost ... No one who has touched our lives, and who has brought beauty to the world is ever truly gone.
I love you all ... May God be with you always!

Barbara was a lovey Christian lady. I have many wonderful memories of her. She was a great teacher, and a treasured friend. I will miss her very much, but I am confident that she is in the arms of Jesus. Great will be her rewards in Heaven, because she touched many lives with her goodness. We will be praying for you, her family in your time of grief.
Love and Prayers,
Lawrence and Jeanne Chatman
I can only say I will remember Barbara as such a wonderful, kind, loving person who was always smiling. Our thoughts, prayers, and hearts go out to Don and the family. Love, Kenny and Millie Padgett
