Barbara Correll (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Barbara Ellen Correll was born October 20, 1938 in Orla, Missouri to Murrel and Virginia Humphreys Beard. She passed away at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the age of eighty-six years, two months and twenty-eight days of age.
Barbara spent her early years in Competition, Missouri before moving with her family to Shawnee Mission, Kansas. She graduated from Shawnee Mission High School and took some college classes. Barbara was employed at Swift Foods in the accounting department for twenty years. She enjoyed her time there and made many friends.
Barbara then moved west to Colorado where she spent twenty years at Mountain Bell Telephone Company. She loved Colorado but in 2010, decided it was time to return to Missouri and make her home in Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two husbands, Harvey Bowman and Ross Correll.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Donald Warren of Lebanon, Missouri; and several cousins.
Barbara was baptized into the Church of Christ.
In her spare time, Barbara loved traveling, skiing, watching television and reading. She also liked to play golf and enjoyed bowling and dancing.
Throughout her life, Barbara was known for her unwavering dedication to her family. She will be remembered for her kindness and caring personality and will be missed by those who knew her.
Memorial donations may be made to McBride Cemetery and left at the funeral home.
