Barbara Ann Guinn (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Barbara Ann Guinn, daughter of Harold and Irene Lindsay Randolph, was born November 23, 1938, near Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, August 25, 2017, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-eight years, nine months, and three days.
On June 19, 1959, she was united in marriage to Joseph B. Guinn, and to this union one daughter and one son were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph, on June 28, 1998; and a grandson, Justin Guinn.
Barbara is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Myers, of Lebanon, Missouri; a son, J. D. Guinn, and his wife, Karen, of Lebanon, Missouri; three grandchildren, Joey, Tiffany, and Kara; four great-grandchildren, Seth, Liam, Gavin, and Payson; two brothers, James Randolph, and his wife, Ruth, and Rick Randolph, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a sister, Janet Nichols, and her husband, Howard, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area and attended Lebanon High School. After she and Joseph were married, they made their home near Lebanon and lovingly raised their family. Barbara began working at the Lebanon bus station and then worked at R & S Floral for a time. She was employed at Bishop Furniture and Justice Furniture before going to work as a sales associate at Wal Mart for sixteen years. She was always a devoted homemaker to her husband and children.
Barbara had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Happy Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
In her spare time she enjoyed being outdoors where she liked gardening and growing beautiful flowers. She was a people person, who was generous to others and was very independent. She always put her family first and enjoyed helping to raise her grandchildren.
Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
