Barbara McCoy (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Barbara Lynn McCoy, daughter of Bobby and Margaret Sue Nave Wilferd, was born June 4, 1965, in Pemiscot County, Missouri. She departed this life Tuesday, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-two years, six months, and twenty-eight days.
On June 17, 1988, she was united in marriage to Michael Everett McCoy and they shared eight years before his passing on November 11, 1996.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Barbara is survived by four sons, Brock Tiffany, and his wife, Jessica, of Lebanon, Missouri, Zack McCoy, of Williston, North Dakota, Kyle McCoy, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and Matthew McCoy, of Lebanon, Missouri; a grandson, Sylas; two brothers, B. J. Wilferd, of the State of Washington, and Michael Russel, of Fulton, Missouri; five sisters, Carla, Landra, Juana Driskill, and Niki Trainer; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Bootheel area of Missouri and lived there for many years. She then made her home in Lebanon, Missouri for the last several years and did babysitting, and also worked at Copeland Corporation for a time. She had also been a devoted homemaker to her husband and family.
She loved Springtime and working in her garden. She also enjoyed riding horses and reading. Her family was very dear to her.
Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.
Private graveside service and burial will be in the Washington Cemetery.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
