Barbara Jean Miller (Camdenton)'s Obituary
Barbara Jean Miller, daughter of Raymond Vance, Sr. and Gladys Walker Wells, was born August 17, 1931, in Hannibal, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, January 29, 2014, in her home, Camdenton, Missouri at the age of eighty-two years, five months and twelve days.
She was preceded in death by parents and her husband David Miller.
Survivors include two sons, Rod Sederwall and wife Diana of Camdenton, Missouri; Steve Sederwall and wife Carolyn of Capitan, New Mexico; her grandchildren, Jason Sederwall and wife Wendy of Jefferson City, Missouri; Sean Sederwall and wife Stacy of Camdenton, Missouri, Ellie Keith of Camdenton, Missouri, Nina McInnes of Capitan, New Mexico and Megan Pooler and husband Nathan of Camdenton, Missouri; six great-grandchildren; her brother, Raymond (Skip) Wells, Jr. and wife Betty of Hannibal, Missouri; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Barbara was born and raised in Hannibal, Missouri, and lived there until moving to the Lake of Ozarks in 2009. She graduated from Hannibal High School in the class of 1949. Barbara worked as a bookkeeper most of her life.
Barbara made a profession of faith and was a member of My Father’s House in Camdenton, Missouri. She was a member of BPW (Business and Professional Women) and the Red Hat Society in Hannibal, Missouri.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.
