Barbara Ruth Moore (Hartville)'s Obituary
Barbara Ruth Moore, daughter of Edwin and Eula Hadley, was born January 7, 1941, in Oklahoma. She departed this life Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Hartville Care Center, at the age of seventy-seven years, eleven months, and five days.
She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Jay Moore; a grandson, Chris Dodson; her parents, Edwin and Eula Hadley; a brother, Delmar Hadley; and a niece, Marie Claunch.
Barb is survived by her son Jeff Moore and his wife Dawn, of Norwood, Missouri; five grandchildren, Charity Moore, Kimberly Moore, Stephanie Riland, Adam Moore, and Kaylee Moore; five great-grandchildren, Elisabeth and Sophia Riland, Avery Paxton, Jaxon and Rosalie Kisner; a sister, Shirley Hegyes; a brother, Charles Hadley; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and caring friends.
Barb was raised in Oklahoma and as a young mother moved to Hartville. She was employed by the HD Lee Factory where she worked as a sewing operator. Barb also enjoyed taking care of her family and making a home for them. Barb loved her two little boys very much, even more than she loved herself. What’s not to love about a woman who loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, almost as much as she loved Wal-Mart.
Barb was known for her way of ending a conversation that she didn’t’ like by throwing her hand up and saying “whatever”. When she was done talking, she was done talking.
She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. A mother’s work is never done and heaven must have needed another one. An angel came and took Barb by her hand and led her to God’s promised land. Although we are sad here, we know Mike was there to meet her.
