Barbara Sue Ritch (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Barbara “Sue” (Wilson) Ritch, daughter of the late James Monroe Wilson, Sr. and Martha Menerva (Pruitt) Wilson, was born on September 19, 1943 in Buffalo, MO, and departed this life on January 21, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. At the time of her passing she was 74 years, 4 months, and 2 days of age.
Sue was reared and attended school in the Buffalo, MO area and graduated from Buffalo High School. She was united in marriage to Archie Ritch in 1976, and to this union two sons were born, both of whom survive her. Sue was a calm and easy-going mother, who loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She could fix any bump or bruise, and always had the right medicine for whatever ailment her family had. She was a great cook, and always enjoyed having her family over for dinner. Sue had a passion for animals, especially little poodles. She attended Calvary Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Archie for many years.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Buell Dale Wilson and Dwight Wilson; and one sister, Mary Elizabeth Williams. She is survived by her husband Archie of the home; two sons, Jimmy Jackson and Timmy Jackson; two brothers, C.A. Wilson and Jimmy Wilson; two sisters, Patsy Durrington and Arlene Wilson; four grandchildren, Tony Jackson, Cody Jackson, Brandon Jackson, and Elizabeth Jackson; and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
