Barbara L. Taylor (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Barbara Louise Taylor, 84 of Humansville, MO passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Bring Springs Care Center in Humansville. Services are pending and will be announced by the the Butler Funeral Home. Barbara Louise Taylor was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois on April 11, 1930. Her father was Arther Elmo Taylor, her mother, Elberta Ellen Imel. Her daughters are Cindy Rae Inmon and husband Ira and Marie Kay Culbertson and husband Randy. Her sons are Jimmie David Harris, Randolph Dale Harris and Travis Eugene Harris and wife Barbie. There are 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Her only sibling was Tracy Ann Jones and husband, Charles Jones, 3 nieces, 2 nephews and their families.
In Grand Junction, CO, she opened up “Foxy’s Drive In and Deli”. Later in Buena Vista, “Foxy’s Fort”. After moving to Mo, she shared the T.L.C. Doll Shop with her mom in Humansville. Then in Fair Play, she shared her love of floral arranging in the “Mad Hatter” with her daughter, Kay.
She loved to read and write, which led her to be a 3 times published poet. For her daughters, she was a Girl Scout Leader. Her favorite color was blue, favorite flower, the Iris. She had a love for hats and was the “Queen of Bling”.
Barbara was raised in Colorado, moved to Ohio and spent the rest of her days here in Missouri. Life Church Humansville was where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was baptized.
Services will be held at the Life Church Humansville, 506 W. Mill St. at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024
