Beatrice Bea Renner's Obituary
eatrice Gladys Renner, daughter of Edward and Luella Florence Haug Bovensiep, was born May 24, 1925, in Detroit, Michigan. She departed this life Saturday, June 28, 2008, in Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Missouri, at the age of eighty-three years, one month and four days. On October 4, 1942, in Tucson, Arizona, she was united in marriage to Harold Frank Renner and to this union three children were born. Together they shared fifty-six years until his passing on April 23, 1999. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Charles Renner, and seven siblings. Survivors include her children, Jim Renner and wife, Mary, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, and Barbara Chaffin and companion, Mike Macchi, of Linn Creek, Missouri; grandchildren, Stacie Scola and husband, David, of West Hills, California, Matthew Renner of Woodland Hills, California, Nicole Vasquez and husband, Shawn, Carissa Paredes and husband, Carlos, and Carlee Renner all of Lancaster, California, Heather Moore of Springfield, Missouri and Joshua Ondrovich of Linn Creek, Missouri; five great-grandchildren; three brothers; one sister and many nieces and nephews. Bea was raised in Detroit, Michigan, one of twelve children. She and Harold were married in Tucson, Arizona while he was on leave from the U.S. Air Force. Harold was serving our country during World War II. After the war, they made their home in Detroit, and in the early 1950’s the family moved to California. In 1998, she and Harold retired to the Lake of the Ozarks. In her spare time, Bea enjoyed gambling and playing bingo. Most of all, she enjoyed time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. Bea was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. Memorials to a charity of the donor's choice may be made through the funeral home.
