Beatrice L. Neeley (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Beatrice Lee Neeley, daughter of James and Ruby Nunn Berry, was born January 13, 1930, near Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, March 5, 2021, in her home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of ninety-one years, two months, and four days.
In 1950 she was united in marriage to Bruce L. Neeley, who passed away January 17, 2003 and to this union three daughters and four sons were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bruce; a daughter, Teresa Kimball; two sons, Bruce Lee Neeley, and Ed Neeley; and a brother, Jerry Berry.
Beatrice is survived by two daughters, Dallene Adams, and her husband, Mark, and Ruby Rivera, and her husband, Ozzie, all of Cape Coral, Florida; two sons, James Neeley, and his wife, Jannie, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Delmar Neeley, of Anderson, Alaska; seven grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larnce Berry, and his wife, Joan, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Hobert Berry, and his wife, Sharon, of Edwards, Missouri; three sisters, Lena Smith, Pat Shumate, both of Lebanon, Missouri, and Delores Walker, and her husband, Billy, of Springfield, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area. After she and Bruce were married, they made their home in Alaska where her husband was a civil service worker. Once he retired, they moved back to the Lebanon area and enjoyed their retirement years. Throughout her life, Beatrice was always a devoted homemaker to her husband and was a loving mother to her children.
Beatrice had made her profession of faith in Christ and was active in the Dove Church for many years.
In her spare time she enjoyed doing embroidery, crocheting, reading, cooking, and gardening. Her family was very important to her and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beatrice was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and was a caring friend. We celebrate her life and know that her family and friends will cherish the wonderful memories she created for them during her lifetime.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021, in Holman-Howe Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Allen officiating. Burial will be in Ivey Cemetery. Memorial donations to Ivey Cemetery may be made through the funeral home.
