She departed this life Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in the Golden Living Center, in St. James, Missouri, at the age of eighty-three years, ten months, and twenty days. Early in her life she was united in marriage to Vernon Howard Bass, and to this union two daughters and two sons were born.
