Beatrice Post (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Beatrice Rita Post was born in Mount Vernon, New York, on December 13, 1941, to Peter and Francis Anna (Popick) Murphy. A proud graduate with a master’s in psychology, Beatrice dedicated much of her life to helping others, working as a Guidance Counselor for the Lee County School Board until her retirement.
A woman of many passions, Beatrice loved to travel, quilt, sew, and immerse herself in books. Her laughter, intelligence, and unwavering independence were hallmarks of her vibrant personality. Known for her tenacity and strength, she was the pillar of her family—always there with an open heart and ready to lend a helping hand. Beatrice cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she would do anything for those she loved.
Beatrice was a proud patriot, a devout Christian, and an ardent supporter of President Trump. Her strength of character, combined with her devotion to family, made her a woman who was truly unstoppable. Her family will always remember her as a source of love, guidance, and resilience. She lived her life fully, embracing each moment with passion and determination.
Beatrice is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Peter and Francis; her son, Mark Anthony Post; her brother, Phillip Murphy; her sister, Francis Fraizer and her husband Fred; as well as her nephews Greg Fraizer and Pete Murphy.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Post, and daughter-in-law, Stacy; her grandchildren Emily Walters and husband Corey, Jacob Post, Alyssa Post and partner Brandon, along with their four children Adali, Liam, Aria, and Amory; her twin brother, Pete Murphy, and wife Carmen, and their daughter Michelle Bergfors and husband Craig, along with their two children, Holly and Heidi; daughter-in-law Vicky Murphy and their three children, Patrick, Cameron, and Trevor; as well as her nieces, Maureen Fraizer, Colleen Crawford, and nephew Michael Fraizer. She also leaves behind her brother, Paul Murphy, and wife Renee, and their six children: Valerie Adams, David Murphy, Ricky Murphy, Crissie Murphy, Bryan Murphy, and Robin Smith; nieces Debbie Walters and Vanessa.
Beatrice’s legacy of love, strength, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
