Becca Ann McGinnis (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Rebecca Ann McGinnis, daughter of Edwin and Alvena Jamison Armstrong, was born October 12, 1977, in Lebanon, Missouri. She departed this life Sunday, May 1, 2011, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of thirty-three years, six months, and nineteen days.
On November 25, 1996, she was united in marriage to Jerry Lee McGinnis, and to this union four daughters were born.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Jamison; and her paternal grandparents, Harold and Agnes Armstrong.
Becca is survived by her husband, Jerry, of the home; four daughters, Tamra, Maisey, Saydee, and Winter McGinnis, all of the home; her parents, Edwin and Alvena Armstrong, of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Eddie Armstrong, and his wife, Sarah, of Lebanon, Missouri; five sisters, Brenda Goldsmith, and her husband, Jason, Kathy Puffett, and her husband, Vern, Sandy Wilson, and her husband, Mark, Sindy Vandaveer, and her husband, Kelly, and Jennifer Anderson, all of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Chuck Rumbaugh, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in the Lebanon area and graduated from Lebanon High School. After she and Jerry were married, they made their home in Lebanon, and were lovingly raising their daughters. Becca had recently completed her bachelor degree studies with Drury University.
Rebecca professed her faith in Christ and was baptized as a child by Brother Joe Fulkerson.
She was devoted to her children and enjoyed spending time teaching her daughters. She also enjoyed traveling and being with her family.
Rebecca was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and many friends.
