Benjamin Ferguson (Seymour)'s Obituary
Benjamin A. Ferguson, age 68 of Seymour, Missouri passed away Tuesday January 31, 2017 at Glenwood Healthcare following a short illness. He was born on Saturday February 14, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri the only child of Alden Charles Ferguson and Doris M (Bennett) Ferguson. He was raised in Seymour and graduated from Seymour High School, Class of 1966. He was a proud member of the Hazelwood Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and had attended Seymour Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly Sue “Susie” (Cook) Ferguson and two children Sammy Hale and Kim Hale.
Ben is survived by his children Orliena Young and husband Earnest of Seymour, Missouri; Kristi Carver and husband Steve of Springfield, Missouri; Paul Hale and wife Kathy of Springfield, Missouri and Liz Hale of Springfield, Missouri as well as 5 grandchildren Sara, Ashley, Michael, Lane and Shelby and 3 great grandchildren Ellie, Carter and Katherine as well as special friends and a host of extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hazelwood Masonic Lodge or Three Rivers Hospice.
