Berla Evans (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Berla Benjamin Robert Evans, 74, Fair Play, MO, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 in the comfort of his own home. Berla was born May 21, 1942 in Collins, MO. The son of Emmett and Josephine Evans. In his early years, Berla would help on his family farm. After graduating Collins High School in 1959 he enlisted the Army where he was deployed to “Korea. After returning from his three year deployment he worked for Zenith for 27 years. He married Alice Flander in 1972. In his retirement he enjoyed tinkering with tractors, finding a good deal and turning it into a better deal and the company of his family.
He leaves his sons, Berla “BR” Evans, Jason Evans, Lloyd Evans; his beloved brothers and sisters, Jean Lamb, Tom Evans, Jack Evans, Joyce Tordorovich, Steve Evans, Evan Evans and Joann Earwod.
