Bernia "Sue" Witt (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Sue Witt, age 88 of Montreal, Missouri, left this earth for her Heavenly home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was born March 10, 1936 in Brumley, Missouri to Harrison and Bessie Brumley.
She was united in marriage to Gail Witt on May 24, 1952. He preceded her in death on October 19, 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Bessie Brumley; nine siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sue is survived by three children, Lanny Witt and his wife Betty of Lebanon, Missouri, Becky Russell and her husband Bob of Rolla, Missouri and Randy Witt and his wife Beth of Montreal, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Russ Witt and his wife Sarah, Kiel Witt and his wife Heather, Jordan Witt and his wife Whitney, Byron Russell, Shantelle Russell, Brandon Witt and his wife Becca and Jake Witt; ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Sue lived in the Montreal area since 1961. She retired from Modine/Sundstrand in Camdenton, Missouri.
She was a member of Mt. Union Church of Christ.
Sue enjoyed gardening and cooking for family dinners. She liked feeding everyone and hosting big family get-togethers.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Richland Care Center and Compassus Hospice for the wonderful care, love and support.
A Graveside service will be Monday, March 3 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Union Cemetery in Brumley.
