Bernice Ileen Wiesenhofer (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Bernice Ileen Wiesenhofer, 83 of Louisburg, Missouri passed away Thursday July 1, 2021 at CMH nursing home in Bolivar Missouri.
She was born on June 15, 1938 in Palo, Iowa the daughter of Lyle and Mable Dodd, along with siblings Bob and Delores.
Ileen attended Palo High School in Palo, Iowa, class of 1955. She then married Raymond Carl Wiesenhofer, they were married for 60 years. Together they had five children Ricky, Randy, Ronnie, Julie, and Janet. Ileen started working with her father Lyle Dodd and took over the family screen printing business in 1983. Ileen and Ray then retired and moved to Louisburg, Missouri in 1988. Ileen was an active member of Victory Baptist Church in Thomasville, Missouri. Her love for Christ was abundant, apparent and radiant.
Ileen enjoyed spending time with her husband, kids, and 49 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was the anchor of the family and always loved family gatherings. Ileen was a ray of light, joyful, and kind hearted. Ileen spent many hours in the kitchen, she loved to cook and bake. Ileen enjoyed, designing T-shirts, gardening, along with living life on the farm.
Although she struggled with Alzheimer’s, she remained in good spirits up until her passing. She will always be remembered for her generosity, love for her family, and devout faith.
Funeral services for Ileen will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2021 in the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Prater officiating with burial to follow in the Memorial Gardens of Memory Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm right before the service.
