Bernon truly loved traveling and staying on the move. He had nearly traveled across the entire world, missing only two small areas that he wasn’t able to visit. He was a very independent man who always maintained an optimistic and positive outlook on life, even to the very end. He possessed a delightful sense of humor and loved to laugh. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bernon was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered as a devoted family man, a courageous and decorated serviceman, a proud American, and a good friend to many.
