So sorry to hear of Bertha's passing. I had not seen her for many years, but have some good memories being with them at Anna & Leonard's house with Larry. My memory is "shakey", but I think at Uncle Howard & Aunt Retha's house a long time ago everyone got together and played A LOT of music and sang. Those times were great. My cousins and I were blessed with the best childhoods anyone could ever ask for. Aunt Lorene would even let us put talcum powder on the linoleum floor to run & slide across the house. And man she could sing. Our family gatherings were often, full of love, filled with music, and with outdoor games too. She always had a beautiful smile, warm hug, and gentle kiss on the cheek for us, and she loved to tell us about Jesus and how beautiful Heaven is. I love her dearly and know I will see her again someday.
