Betty Beem's Obituary
Betty Jane Beem, daughter of Claud Nicholas and Rose Marie Wolfe Franck, was born March 31, 1932, in Libby, Montana. She departed this life Friday, February 25, 2011, in Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton, Missouri, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer?s disease at the age of seventy-eight years, ten months and twenty-five days. On June 9, 1951, in Thompson Falls, Montana, she was united in marriage to Randall Leslie Beem and to this union six children were born. Together they shared over fifty-nine glorious years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son; a grandson; three brothers, and a sister. Survivors include her lovingly devoted husband, Randall Beem, of the home; five grateful children, Randy C. Beem and Bill Beem and wife, Carol, all of Climax Springs, Missouri, Mike Beem and wife, Heidi, and Julie LeBeau and husband, Dave, all of Arvada, Colorado, and Sandy Copenhaver and husband, Mike, of Hannibal, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Betty was born the third child from a family of thirteen. She attended school in Trout Creek, Montana. She was a full-time devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She liked nothing more than spending time with and doing for her family. She was the greatest mother ever, and fiercely defended and lovingly supported her family. She would do anything for a friend and often did. Betty made a profession of faith and was a member of Climax Springs Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the 7-13 Fire-Birds and the Climax Springs 50 and Holding Club. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, volunteering, and cooking. Most of all, time spent with her family was most precious to her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. She was a very giving and caring woman who will be greatly missed by her family, friends and anyone who knew her. The world is a little less happy with her passing.
