Betty Huber's Obituary
Betty Lois Huber, daughter of Sam and Ruth Lane Bunch, was born October 17, 1938 in Clintwood, Virginia. She departed this life Monday, October 15, 2007 in her home near Mansfield, Missouri at the age of sixty-eight years, eleven months and twenty-eight days. On February 15, 1980, Betty was united in marriage to Doyle Huber, and together they have shared the past twenty-seven years. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Tena. She is survived by her husband, Doyle, of the home; three sons, Carl Gene Rowland, of Bentonville, Virginia, Robert Dean Rowland and his wife, Debbie, of Manassas, Virginia, and James Lee Rowland, of Orlando, Florida; one daughter, Sherrie Van Buren and her husband, Mark, of Bealeton, Virginia; five grandchildren; a brother, David, and a sister, Mary, both of the State of Virginia; a step-son, Truman Wayne Huber, of Ava, Missouri; as well as a step-daughter, Teresa Dawn Skelton, of Springfield, Missouri; several nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. Betty was born and raised in Virginia. She worked for IBM for twenty years in both Virginia and Austin, Texas, before retiring in 1985. Betty was an avid painter; she enjoyed working on many different arts and crafts projects, as well as sewing and interior decorating. She also loved to collect and sell Home Interior products. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she has created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2007, in the Holman-Howe Chapel, Mansfield. Burial will be in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 7 - 9:00 p.m. under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Mansfield, Missouri.
