Betty Moore's Obituary
Betty Lou Moore, daughter of Eugene and Dorothy Moore, was born March 23, 1955, near Hartville, Missouri. She departed this life Friday, April 15, 2011, in her home, at the age of fifty-six years and twenty-two days.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Betty is survived by her son, Travis Brian Moore and wife, Alicia, of Phillipsburg, MO; four sisters, Sharon Coffman, of Hartville, MO, Kathy Moore, of Lebanon, MO, Brenda Moore, of Kansas City, KS, and Theresa Woolman, of Mansfield, MO; six brothers, Danny Moore, of Edwards, MO, Hubert Moore, of Lebanon, MO, Leslie Moore, Norwood, MO, Harvey Moore, of Tipton, MO, Rex Moore, of Bowling Green, MO, and William R. Moore, of Licking, MO; four aunts and a great-aunt; a number of nieces, nephews and cousin; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Born in Hartville, she lived all of her life there except a short time in Iowa. She had professed her faith in Jesus Christ and attended the Hartville Church of God, where she enjoyed her church fellowship. She centered her life around caring for her family and her home. Spending time with them gave her much joy.
She always found time to go shopping at the thrift store and garage sales looking for that special good buy. In her younger years she liked fishing with her son. She loved her dog Scrappy, as he held a special place in her heart.
Betty was a loving mother and sister. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. The cherished memories we hold in our heart will live on forever.
FUNERAL SERVICES FOR Betty Lou Moore
WILL BE HELD AT 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home at Hartville, Mo. BURIAL WILL BE IN: Oak Grove Cemetery, east of Hartville, Mo.
