Betty Sue Cornelison's Obituary
Betty Sue Cornelison, daughter of Doyle Aaron and Julia Lou Welker Cornelison, was born April 2, 1943, near Seymour, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, May 3, 2006, in Cox Medical Center South, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-three years, one month, and one day. Her father preceded her in death. Betty is survived by her mother, Julia “Judy” Cornelison, of Seymour, Missouri; two brothers, her twin, Bill Cornelison, and Jim Cornelison, both of Marshfield, Missouri; two sisters, Reba Schuder, of Rogersville, Missouri, and Vonna Rice, and her husband, Ronnie, of Marshfield, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; and her loving family at Oak Hill Group Home, in Marshfield, Missouri. She was born and raised in the Seymour community. After she became disabled at the age of eighteen, she lived in various different group homes in the area. She also had worked in sheltered workshops throughout the years. Betty had made her profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Diggins Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed doing embroidery and various craft projects. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them. Betty was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2006, in Seymour Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour, Missouri.
