Betty Katherine Wilson (Seymour)'s Obituary
Betty Katherine Wilson, age 79 recently of Seymour, Missouri passed away on Wednesday July 31, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born Sunday, October 15, 1939 in Tampa, Florida, one of eight children born to Glenn Kirton, Sr and Elsie (Cosby) Kirton. She graduated from Pineville High School in Pineville, Louisiana. on February 27, 1958 she was united in marriage to Charles G. Wilson. Charles was in the United States Army and over the course of his military life the family moved with him around the world.
Surviving Katherine is her husband of 61 years, Charles G. Wilson of the home; 3 daughters Karen Kirton of Tampa, FL, Sandra Edwards and fiancée Chuck Figueroa of Seymour, MO and Sabrina Barron and husband Mike of Springfield, MO; a son Rick Wilson of Pontiac, MO; a brother Glenn Kirton, Jr. of Iowa; 3 sisters Martha Livermore, Pam Close and Stephanie Saul all of Iowa; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Orin Kirton, a sister Debra Kirton and a son-in-law Michael Edwards.
Katherine was a wonderful wife and mother and will be missed dearly by her entire family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
