Betty Young's Obituary
Betty Lee Young, age 80, of Bolivar, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Citizen’s Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri. She was born June 18, 1929 in Long Beach, California to Thomas Boyd Clark and Anna Belle (Gibson) Clark. Betty married Hubert Francis Young on April 7, 1948. She attended school in Walnut Grove, Missouri and was saved at an early age at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Walnut Grove, Missouri and more recently joined the Lindley Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hubert Francis Young who died on July 14, 2004, her brother, Jack Clark and a sister, Lois Mauck. Betty is survived by her two sons, T.J. Young and his wife Jennifer of Nixa, Missouri, Tim Young and his wife Jodie of Bolivar, Missouri, 8 grandchildren, Zachery Young and his wife Jackie of Springfield, Missouri, Emmilee Thomason and her husband Brian of Springfield, Missouri, Emily Weaver and her husband Bud of Nixa, Missouri, Eric Johnson and his wife Megan of Kansas City, Missouri, Dylan Young, Clayton Young, Caleb Young and Madison Young all of Bolivar, Missouri, six great grandchildren, Ryder Young, Adelyn Weaver, Camden Weaver, Sutton Weaver, Gavin Johnson and Kinley Johnson, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, her church family and friends. Funeral services will be at 3:00pm, Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, Missouri with Brother Brent Sharp officiating. Musical selections will be “Thank You” and “Goodbye World” by Dena Kay Hoover. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bolivar under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar. A visitation will be from 5-7pm, Saturday evening at the Butler Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Eric Johnson, Clayton Young, Zach Young, Francis Young, JayCee Young, Dylan Young, and Caleb Young.
