Beulah "Juanita" Marksberry (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Beulah “Juanita” Marksberry was born February 25, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa to her parents, Asa and Edith Rice Richardson. She passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at Nixa Nursing and Rehab in Nixa, Missouri. She was seventy-seven years and eight months of age.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Asa and Edith; her husband, Chester Marksberry; her daughters, Denise Welch, Sherry Weddle, Peggy Sue Weddle and Paula Wood.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Weddle, Jr. and his wife Michele of Cole Camp, Missouri and John Weddle and his wife Amanda of Bruner, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and her brother, Asa Richardson, Jr. of Des Moines, Iowa.
Juanita moved with her family to Lebanon, Missouri when she was very young and attended Lebanon Schools. She established the early years of her career working in the medical field. She was employed at Wallace Hospital, followed by the Lebanon Care Center. She was also a homemaker, raising her six children.
Juanita moved to Springfield and was a data entry operator for Springfield Grocer. Following her time there, she was employed at Fast and Friendly Convenience Store in Ozark, Missouri for fourteen years. She was a good, dependable employee and made many friends along the way.
Juanita grew up in the Assembly of God faith. She loved God and loved her family. Being with her family was very important to her and she enjoyed being a grandmother and a great-grandmother.
She loved doing crafts, as well as sewing. She made many things for her children and grandchildren over the years.
Juanita was a very caring person and was known for her free personality. Her loss is deeply felt by her family and she will be so missed. Yet we know she lives on in them, in their memories, and in their love for each other.
A memorial has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
