Beverly Diane Clay (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Beverly Diane Clay, daughter of Gene and Jo Davis Clay, was born November 25, 1946, in St. Joseph, Missouri. She departed this life Thursday, November 7, 2019, in Mercy Hospital in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years, eleven months, and thirteen days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brother-in-laws, Dean Satterfield and Joe Descher.
Beverly is survived by three sisters, Linda Satterfield, of Lebanon, Missouri, Annette Descher, of Columbia, Illinois, and Jo Bettes, and her husband, Randy, of Douglas, Wyoming; three brothers, Skip Clay, and his wife, Julie, of Springfield, Missouri, Bill Clay, and his wife, Katherine, of Grandview, Missouri, and Lynn Clay, of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She was born and raised in Lebanon, Missouri, and lived most of her life there. She had made her home with Linda and Dean Satterfield since 2009. Her life revolved around her family and she loved them all dearly.
Beverly had attended Community Baptist Church near Lebanon.
She loved Elvis Presley and was also a country music fan. She enjoyed doing crafts and needlepoint projects, and liked going on trips to Branson. She loved her friends in the care center and had made many good friends through the years.
Beverly was a loving sister, aunt, and was a caring friend to many. We celebrate her life and know that she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. at Community Baptist Church in Lebanon. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park.
Memorial donations to Community Baptist Church may be made through the funeral home.
