Beverly F. Powell's Obituary
Beverly Frances Powell, daughter of Mac Frank and Rose Marie Pollitt Williams, was born September 19, 1937, in Kansas City, Missouri. She departed this life Saturday, March 24, 2007, in her home, in Buffalo, Missouri, at the age of sixty-nine years, six months and five days. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Michael Williams, and a brother, Mac Williams, Jr. Beverly is survived by her children, Laura Powell of Buffalo, Missouri and Michael Ray Powell of Centralia, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Nick Powell, Justin Powell, Ashley Welborn, Elizabeth Powell, Kimberly Welborn, Emily Powell, Jaime Welborn and Obadiah Haines; one great-grandchild, Britt Powell; sister Darlene Rowe of Camdenton, Missouri; brother, Allen Ross of the state of Texas; step-sister, Nancy Schmoll of Kansas City, Missouri; step-brother, Chuck Fields of Kansas City, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She then made her home in Las Vegas, Nevada, Louisiana, and Kansas City, before returning to the lake area. Beverly had worked at Pizza Hut and also Signal in Camdenton. In her spare time she enjoyed playing Bingo and being on her computer. She loved to be outside taking care of her flowers and gardening. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandchild. Beverly was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and her accomplishments and will cherish the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. Burial will be in the Macks Creek Cemetery. Memorials to The American Cancer Society may be made through the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton, Missouri.
