On June 18, 1954, Beverly was united in marriage to James Lee Roberts and to this union three daughters were born.

Beverly is survived by her husband James of the home; three daughters, Robin Sue Ipock and husband Paul of Seymour, Missouri, Tami Jane Twitty and husband Larry of Springfield, Missouri, and Amber Jay Plemones and husband Gary of Rogersville, Missouri; six grandchildren, Shelby Lawson and husband Clark, Wes Waggoner and wife Tracy, April Ipock, Ross Ipock and wife Carrie, Joshua and Skyler Plemones; six great-grandchildren, Brady, Gracie, Clay, Lanie, Pierce, and Ali; a brother, Dennis Bowers and wife Janice of Fordland, Missouri; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Beverly was born in Dogwood, Missouri and moved with her family to Colorado at a young age. She moved back to Missouri at the age of sixteen and attended Fordland High School, where she was the Valedictorian in the Class of 1953. She lived in Kansas City, Missouri briefly before moving back to Fordland to marry the love of her life, James. She and James made their home in Fordland and lovingly raised their children there. Beverly had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized in Fordland. She attended Diggins Baptist Church when possible. In her younger years, Beverly enjoyed bowling in a league with her girls. Granny B, as she was known by her grandchildren, was an avid antiquer and had quite a collection in her home. Her quilting skills were born from her love to sew clothing for her children. She made her daughters’ clothes for many years and later became a quilter, making some of the most beautiful quilts in the county. She passed her love for quilting and for the Lord down to her daughters, and taught them many valuable life lessons. One particular lesson will never be forgotten, “Always wear clean underwear, just in case you’re in an accident!”
Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and accomplishments and will cherish the many wonderful memories she has left for us.
