Beverly Jean Russell (Hartville)'s Obituary
Beverly Jean Russell, daughter of Lewis Oscar and Theresa May Givens, was born on March 1, 1934 in Trinidad, Colorado. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2020 in her home at the age of 76 years.
On January 27, 1960, Beverly was united in marriage to Darrell Russell and to this union three children were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her father and mother-in-law, Willis and Eloise Russell, her sister-in-law Patricia Russell, her brother-in-law Mark Russell, and nephew Steven Gill.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Darrell of the home; a son, Troy Russell and his wife Tammy; two daughters, Michelle Russell and Cylinda Prock and her husband Russell, all of Hartville, Missouri; grandchildren, Chelsea Krueger and her husband Joey, Kristen Lafferty and her husband Josie, Kevin Prock and his significant other Hannah, and Katrina Prock; great-grandchildren, Chasin and Savannah Krueger, Jordyn Lafferty, one due to arrive in three weeks, Lacie Lafferty; two step-great-grandchildren, Bryson Lafferty and Addison Asher; her sister Martha Murway and her husband Steve; her brother, Lewis Oscar Givens Jr. and his wife Becky, both of the state of Colorado; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Beverly was born and raised in Trinidad, Colorado and then moved with her parents to Denver, Colorado where she attended school. She worked various jobs in Colorado before moving back to Missouri. She worked at the H.D. Lee Co. and for Oxford as a caregiver. In 1998, she ran the Russell’s Grocery until they closed in 2007.
She was saved at an early age and attended the Assembly of God Church and later the Life 360 Church.
She enjoyed the Honey Do’s club and getting together with her family at Pizza Hut for grandkids birthdays. She loved her family dearly, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids and was excited about the baby that is due soon. She had a love for people of ministry as well.
Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and dear friend. We celebrate her wonderful life and we will always cherish the many happy memories.
A memorial to Little Creek Cemetery has been established and may be left at the funeral home.
