Bill Fritsch (Bolivar)'s Obituary
William Fritsch, Sr., of Bolivar, Missouri went home to be with his heavenly Father on April 10, 2017.
William Evert Fritsch, Sr., was born on October 22, 1937, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, the son of Charles and Helen (Nicks) Fritsch. He was united in marriage to Linda Duncan on September 4, 1970, in Owensville, Missouri.
William was a graduate of Owensville R-2 High School. He served in the US Airforce. He was employed as a Foreman at Deb’s Shoe Factory, and also at Custom Printing, in Owensville until retirement. In 2009, he and Linda moved to Bolivar, Missouri, to enjoy the past few years spending time doing one of his favorite pastimes: fishing. He also loved his time hunting and fishing at the family farm with his son Bill, and grandson, Tyler.
William is survived by: his wife Linda, of the home; son, William Fritsch, Jr. (Kristi), of Owensville, Missouri; daughter, Julia Tobben (Joe), of Washington, Missouri; Pamela Bohl (Keith), of Jefferson City, Missouri; Mark Lough, of Owensville, Missouri; grandchildren, Ashley De Boeuf, of Miami, Florida, Tyler Fritsch, of Owensville, Missouri, Megean Fritsch, of Owensville, Missouri, Benjamin Tobben, of Washington, Missouri, Ryan Bohl (Sarah), of Jefferson City, Missouri, Nathan Bohl, of Jefferson City, Missouri, Kayla Haslog (Skyler), of Jefferson City, Missouri; four great-grandchildren; brother in law, James Duncan (Paula), of Zebulon, Georgia; sisters in law, Kathlene Diestelkamp (William), of Owensville, Missouri, Diane Lairmore (James), of Owensville, Missouri, Sharron Eichler (William), of Columbia, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Helen Fritsch.
William was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and leaves behind many church family members, and friends who provided support and love during his long illness and death.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Butler Funeral Home, in Bolivar. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
