Bill Sutton (Lebanon)'s Obituary
William Dean “Bill” Sutton, son of William and Elsie McDaniel Sutton, was born April 13, 1947, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Monday, April 24, 2017, in Wilson’s Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy years, and eleven days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy, and his wife, Helen; two brothers, James W. and Kenneth Sutton; and two sisters, Freida Shears, and Carolyn Sue Garrison.
Bill is survived by seven sons, Dusty Rogers, Dwight Swadley, Brian Swadley, all of Springfield, Missouri, Jerry Swadley, of Monett, Missouri, R. J. Lightfoot, of Quincy, Illinois, Chad Lightfoot, of Ursa, Illinois, Jamie Shields, of Grain Valley, Missouri; three daughters, Krusha Frakes, of DeWitt, Missouri, Jaquelyn Plattner, of Marshall, Missouri, and JoElla Bennett, of Independence, Missouri; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in Bolivar, Missouri, and then graduated from Lebanon High School. He lived most of his life in the Springfield, Missouri area except for thirteen years when he made his home in Bosworth, Missouri. He was a skilled mechanic and worked at various businesses throughout the years. He also had worked as a carpenter.
Bill accepted Christ as his personal Savior on April 19, 2009.
In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, karaoke, and liked wheeling and dealing. He had a big heart and never met a stranger. He enjoyed playing with and caring for his pets. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed having his family around him.
William was loving father, grandfather, great-grandchildren, uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
