Billie "Bill" Finley (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Billie “Bill” Frank Finley was born January 30, 1936 in Lebanon, Missouri to Walter and Carrie Finley. He passed away in his Lebanon home Friday, February 20, 2026 at the age of ninety years, twenty-one days.
Bill spent his younger years in Lebanon before moving to Modesto, California where he lived much of his adult life. While in Modesto, he met and married Joyce L. Luttrell on July 25, 1953. They lovingly raised their five daughters and made many wonderful memories.
They lived in Modesto for forty-one years where Bill was a supervisor for Stanislaus Foods. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Union for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Carrie; his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Joyce; two daughters, Florence Tollison and Loretta Dunham; his son-in-laws, Moe, David and Jackie; his grandchildren, Tellisa and Michelle and great-granddaughter, Divinity.
He is survived by his daughters, Cleta Mulholland of Lebanon, Missouri, Terry Martinez and her husband Sam of Oakdale, California, and Holly Finley of Lebanon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Nathan (Crash), David, Shane and his wife Alanna, Billie, Charlene, Sammi, Shellie and Florenda; twenty great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and his significant other, Alberta Lukus.
Following his retirement, Bill and Joyce moved to Lebanon in 1994 where Bill loved to go fishing and hunting. He also had a passion for Bingo and played every chance he could. He enjoyed yard sales and especially liked buying and selling antiques.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather, his family was the center of his world. He lived a good life and will be dearly missed.
Services for Bill Finley will be Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 6 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Carney Cemetery in Competition, Missouri.
