Billie Ann Hicks (Buffalo)'s Obituary
Billie Ann Hicks was born on August 12, 1936, in Colby, Kansas to the late Marquis D. Pilkington and Lilly M. (Shull) Pilkington. Billie entered into rest on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Colonial Springs Health Care Facility.
As a child, Billie and her family moved from Kansas to Goodson, Missouri. She attended Halfway Schools. Billie was united in marriage to James Jasper. Together they made their home in Long Lane, Missouri, operating a dairy until his passing. Billie was later remarried to Ed Hicks. Billie was a faithful member of Calvary Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, attending until her health no longer allowed.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and five sisters: Evelyn Smith, Phylis Taube, Joanne Dill, Nancy Dill, and Janice Hayes. She is survived by one brother, Lavon Pilkington of Long Lane, and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 in the Twin Churches Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.
