Billie Robert Jarman (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Billie Robert Jarman, 81, was born September 20, 1941 in Bolivar, MO. and went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 29, 2023.
Bill was preceded in death by his parent, Alva and Elva (Landreth) Jarman; one older brother, A. J. Jarman; one older sister, Hallie Marie Jarman; one younger sister, Donna Fern (Jarman) Parks; and one younger brother, Richard Harrison Jarman.
He is survived by three brothers and one sister, Elmer Jarman and wife Jerry of Kansas City, MO; Allen Jarman of Raytown; Mike Jarman of Flemington and Ruth Lloyd and husband Don of Springfield. “Uncle Bill” had numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces, as well as many cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
Bill loved working on and driving “Fast” cars. He was employed by Joe Rayl U-Save Oil Company. He was a fieldman for the company and enjoyed driving all over southwest Missouri checking his stations.
While he was in the care facility in Hermitage, MO, he would tell everyone who would listen, of his years of cutting walnut logs with Deede Floyd and Verlin Simmons and whoever else they could convince to come along.
His care facility family called him their “Gentle Giant”. They always had coffee and cookies available for him whenever he needed or wanted them.
We asked God to heal him and he answered our prayers.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 7, 2023 from 9-11 AM with services following at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Bolivar City Cemetery.
