Billy Allen Crook, 87, departed this life on Friday April 1, 2016.
He was born on August 2, 1928 in Union, Nebraska to Amos Lee Crook and Edna Hartley Crook, He was a proud member of the Fullerton, CA. Police Dept. for 25 years, retiring in 1980. He worked many more years for J.C.Penney also in California.
He was a resident of Fair Play, MO since 1994. He was also a proud member of Fair Play First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Amos Lee Crook and his mother, Edna Hartley Crook and a sister, Edna Lee Torkelson.
Survivors include his wife, Paula, of 44 years and six children. Son, David Crook and wife Vicki of South Point, Ohio. Son, Steven Crook and wife Jennie of Corona California. Son, Donald Crook and wife Erika of Keokuk, IA. Daughter, Sheryl Slater of Fallbrook, California. Daughter, Beverly Humphrey of Bolivar, MO. Son, Billy D. Crook and wife Amy of Lower Lake, California.
He was very proud to claim seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was also survived by one brother, Wayne Crook and wife Linda of Desert Hot Springs, California.
