Billy Myers (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Billy Don Myers was born October 5, 1943 in Lebanon, Missouri to Kirby and Georgia Lillard Myers. He entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 8, 2026 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Billy was eighty-two years, four months and three days of age.
Billy was raised in the Lebanon area and attended Lebanon schools. His career consisted of driving a truck, being a mechanic, as well as farming. He was a hard worker and enjoyed being outside.
On November 5, 2010, he was united marriage to Julia Ann Williams. Together they have supported one another through the joyful times, as well as the trials, for over fifteen years.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Kirby and Georgia; his grandparents; his grandson, Brandon Myers; his sister-in-law, Janet Coonce; an infant sister; and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Myers of the home; his sons, Kirby Myers and his wife Nancy, Billy Myers, Dwight Myers and his significant other Bobbi Davis, Dwayne Myers, Brian Kilburn and his wife Jennifer, Stephen North and his wife Lori; three daughters, Billie Mahan and her significant other Gregg Hicks, Mandy Kennedy and her significant other Ike Watts, and Penny Green; his bonus son, Ricky Jones and his wife Amanda; his grandchildren, Chris Myers and his wife Brandy, Nick Myers, Zach, Haleigh and Katy Myers, Scott Mahan, Ashlynn and Ayden Hicks, Amber Boggs and her husband Travis, Trista Hemphill and her significant other Dillon White, Kristian Kennedy, Nikki Pitt and Hunter Pitt, Skye Myers, Christopher and Parker Kilburn, Emmy and her husband Eliceo Hernandez Guzman, Austin McDonald, Victoria, Alexandria and Annabella North; bonus grandchildren, Madison and Creek Jones ; his nephews, Joseph Yonkman and his wife Samantha, Jay Yonkman and his wife Carley; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ilene Luallin and her husband Dean and Connie Yonkman and her husband Joe; and his brother-in-law Spencer Coonce; and other relatives and many friends.
Billy was saved and baptized when he was in his early teens. He attended Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church until his health prevented him from attending.
He was quite fond of his canine companion, Chase. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outside in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. He found satisfaction at working on small motors and making them run again. It was said that he was good at whatever he set his mind to do. He also enjoyed mowing and gardening until his health declined and he was no longer able to do those things he loved.
Billy suffered for the past few years, but his family is comforted that he is no longer in pain and is in heaven, fully healed, and with his Heavenly Father.
Funeral services for Billy Myers will be Friday, February 13, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5- 7 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery.
A memorial to Crossroads Cemetery has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
